Origins

• Laune Properties Limited is a Property Development Company based in Killorglin, Co. Kerry.
• The Company was established in 2001 by Brian McCarthy, who is the Chairman and principal shareholder.
• Mr McCarthy is also founder, chairman and largest shareholder in FEXCO, the successful financial services group based in Killorglin. FEXCO currently has in excess of 1,100 employees globally.

Chairman, Brian McCarthy

Brian McCarthy is the Chairman and single biggest shareholder of FEXCO, an international group of companies in high technology financial services with a turnover of 142 million, still headquartered in Killorglin.

General Manager, Frank Coffey

Frank Coffey is the company's Project Manager. Prior to joining the company Frank has over 25 years experience having worked as an Area Engineer and Senior Executive Road Design Engineer with Kerry County Council for 17 years before managing the engineering practice of E.G. Pettit in Killarney for a further 4 years. He qualified with a degree in Civil Engineering from UCC in 1978.

Director, Mike Curran

Mike Curran, the company's Financial Controller, qualified as a Cost and Management Accountant. Prior to joining the company he worked in a number of senior finance roles in the FEXCO Group. He is a director of FEXCO.

Director, Gary Ledwith

Gary Ledwith, is the company's Commercial Manager. He is a member of the Institute of Bankers in Ireland, a QFA and also has a certificate of proficiency in Auctioneering and Estate Agency Practice. Prior to joining the company he worked with the Bank of Ireland culminating in 15 years as a Branch Manager.
